Our appreciation and thanks to the parents who assisted at our Cross Country Carnival. Congratulations to all our students who participated. It was a beautiful morning for running with many students producing PBs on the day and giving their all. Congratulations to our age group winners from our earlier Cross Country who were last week presented with their championship medals.

CTK Student shine๐คฉ After successfully completing zone at the end of last year, some very talented Year 4 students competed at regionals up at Mingara. Archie competed in the 100m and 400m, William in the 1100m walk and Fraser in the high jump and discus. Though they didnโt make it to state, the competition was fierce and they represented themselves like true champions. ๐๐ Safer Internet Day โ Year 4 at CTK ๐๐ Today our Year 4 students took part in Safer Internet Day, learning how to be safe, respectful and responsible online. We explored: ๐ Protecting personal information ๐ฌ Using kind words online ๐ฎ Staying safe while gaming ๐ง Thinking carefully before we post ๐ฃ Understanding our digital footprint Students had rich discussions about how our schoolโs PBS4L expectations donโt stop at the classroom door โ they continue online. Year 1 are well and truly back into learning and busy switching their maths brains back on ๐ง โจ Weโve been creating handfuls of counters and organising them in smart ways to make counting easier ๐ข๐ โ using ten frames, grouping and counting by 2s and 5s. We would like to share a huge congratulations to Buddy and Nick in Year 4 who competed at the Oztag State Cup over the weekend ๐ Both boys had a fantastic tournament and scored tries for their teams, such a fantastic effort!
