🌱 Year 3’s Green Thumbs 🌱 Last term, Year 3 has loved learning about the life cycles of different animals and plants in our science unit. Over the past few weeks we learnt how to create an ideal environment for seeds to grow roots and sprout into plants! Take a look at the amazing growth of our bean seeds using only a plastic bag, damp paper towel and sunlight! ☀️🌿

🎩🌸 Easter Hat Parade 🌸🎩 Our school was filled with colour, creativity and joy at our annual Easter Hat Parade! 🐣✨ Students proudly showcased their wonderful hats, decorated with symbols of Easter, reminding us of new life, hope and the joy of the season. ✝️💧 FIAT Students – Washing of the Hands 💧✝️ Our FIAT students took part in a meaningful reflection through the Washing of the Hands, inspired by the example of Jesus and His call to serve others with humility and love. This symbolic action invited students to think about how they can use their hands to help, serve and care for others in their everyday lives. It was a powerful moment of reflection, encouraging our students to live out their faith through action. Our Year 4 students have been busy designing and creating their very own insulated lunch boxes as part of our Science unit! 🧊📦 Students explored how different materials can help keep items cool, then put their designs to the test using an ice cube challenge. It was fantastic to see their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills in action as they worked to slow down the melting process. We were so impressed with the thoughtful designs and the way students evaluated and improved their ideas. Easter Card Invitation for Our Good Neighbourhood Group ✝️🐣 As we prepare for Easter, we invite our students to take part in a beautiful act of kindness by creating an Easter card for members of our local Good Neighbourhood Group 💛 ✏️ A template will be provided at school 📅 Please return completed cards by April 2 📦 Cards will be delivered on April 17 Students can include a meaningful Bible quote, such as: "He is not here; He has risen." – Matthew 28:6 ✝️ Please collect the template cards from the school office.
