On Tuesday 7th May, 45 students from Christ the King competed in the Diocesan Cross Country with pride and determination.
The following students braved the cold morning start to represent CTK at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Congratulations to the following five students who qualified for the inter-diocesan carnival, Mackenzie, Brinleigh, Talia, Olivia and Caitlin, while our 12/13 Girls age group won their division.
A huge thank you to the parents in attendance who assisted on the day encouraging not only their own child but all the students from CTK. And thank you to Jamie Benjamin from McGraths Real Estate (0457 776 665) who has generously taken up sponsorship of our sports representative shirts. π± Year 3βs Green Thumbs π± Last term, Year 3 has loved learning about the life cycles of different animals and plants in our science unit. Over the past few weeks we learnt how to create an ideal environment for seeds to grow roots and sprout into plants! Take a look at the amazing growth of our bean seeds using only a plastic bag, damp paper towel and sunlight! βοΈπΏ

Our Year 4 students have been busy designing and creating their very own insulated lunch boxes as part of our Science unit! π§π¦ Students explored how different materials can help keep items cool, then put their designs to the test using an ice cube challenge. It was fantastic to see their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills in action as they worked to slow down the melting process. We were so impressed with the thoughtful designs and the way students evaluated and improved their ideas.
