On Tuesday 7th May, 45 students from Christ the King competed in the Diocesan Cross Country with pride and determination.
The following students braved the cold morning start to represent CTK at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Congratulations to the following five students who qualified for the inter-diocesan carnival, Mackenzie, Brinleigh, Talia, Olivia and Caitlin, while our 12/13 Girls age group won their division.
A huge thank you to the parents in attendance who assisted on the day encouraging not only their own child but all the students from CTK. And thank you to Jamie Benjamin from McGraths Real Estate (0457 776 665) who has generously taken up sponsorship of our sports representative shirts. We welcome Jamie and his organisation to Christ the King.

Congratulations to Emma and Cara who were selected in the Parramatta Diocesan touch football team who will travel to Wagga Wagga in June to participate in the Mackillop trials. π An extra congratulations to Emma who was also selected in the Parramatta Diocesan soccer team who will travel to Goulburn in May to participate in the Mackillop trials. β½οΈ We wish both Emma and Cara the best of luck for their upcoming sporting endeavours! π

What a delightful sight it was to see our school adorned with an array of colourful and creative Easter hats during our recent Easter Hat Parade! Today, our students came together to showcase their imagination and craftsmanship in celebration of the Easter season. Even the Easter Bunny made an appearance! From the Kindergarteners to the Year 6 students, every member of our school community eagerly participated, donning their most festive and fabulous Easter hats. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as we gathered to admire the creativity and flair on display. As our students paraded around the school grounds, their smiles shone as brightly as the sunshine above. It was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a sense of community spirit that embodies the essence of Christ the King.

What a special occasion it was to gather together as a school community for the Holy Week liturgy. All our students came together to commemorate the solemn and sacred journey leading up to Easter Sunday. Highlighting the significance of this holy time, our Year 6 students acted out the poignant and profound story of Easter. With reverence and dedication, they brought to life the timeless narrative of sacrifice, redemption, and the triumph of hope. We were honoured today to welcome Mother Hilda Scott from the Benedictine Order to our school of Christ the King. Mother Hilda graced us with her wisdom and kindness as she spoke to our students about the profound love of God, emphasising that each and every one of us is cherished and called by name. Her words touched our hearts and reminded us of the infinite grace that surrounds us. In a special session with our Year 6 students, Mother Hilda inspired them to be peacemakers and ambassadors of God's love in the world. She encouraged them to spread kindness, compassion, and understanding, fostering a spirit of harmony and unity wherever they go.
