On Tuesday 7th May, 45 students from Christ the King competed in the Diocesan Cross Country with pride and determination.
The following students braved the cold morning start to represent CTK at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Congratulations to the following five students who qualified for the inter-diocesan carnival, Mackenzie, Brinleigh, Talia, Olivia and Caitlin, while our 12/13 Girls age group won their division.
A huge thank you to the parents in attendance who assisted on the day encouraging not only their own child but all the students from CTK. And thank you to Jamie Benjamin from McGraths Real Estate (0457 776 665) who has generously taken up sponsorship of our sports representative shirts. We welcome Jamie and his organisation to Christ the King.

๐ธ๐ค Battle of the Bands rocked Year 6! ๐ค๐ธ Energy, enthusiasm and incredible talent took centre stage as our Year 6 students performed in this year's Battle of the Bands last term. From powerful vocals to impressive instrumentals, every group brought creativity, confidence and teamwork to the stage. A huge congratulations to all of our performers for the hard work and courage it takes to perform in front of an audience, and thank you to our staff, families and classmates for cheering them on. Burning off the waffles cream and berries (berries seemed to be optional for most) before our last 2 activities. Had a great night last night with schnitzel for dinner and trivia. There were lots of tired bodies last night. They should all sleep well tonight. See you all this afternoon!

Another fun filled day. Archery, orienteering, abseiling, initiatives, catapults, soccer, tennis, basketball, and games room fun. All this was fuelled by hamburgers for lunch, cookies and fruit for morning tea and afternoon tea, and lollies. We are about to shower, and settle in for chicken schnitzel and a trivia competition. Looking forward to tomorrows fun

Day 2 here we come! Good morning parents. We had a great first day and night. We have started today with bacon eggs and hash browns, and we are enjoying the sun to warm ourselves up on this cold morning. We are about to begin our 4 activities today. We had a great day today. Lots of fun participating in orienteering, Archery, rock climbing, and catapult building. We finished the day with beef nachos, churros with ice cream, and camp games. Really looking forward to tomorrow

๐ฟ๐พ Year 1 Living Things Project ๐พ๐ฟ Year 1 have been learning all about living things and what they need to survive. Working alongside their wonderful Year 6 buddies, students designed and built a habitat for a living thing of their choice. Their habitats needed to include the essential elements for survival: shelter, food, air, and water. It was fantastic to see our students using their creativity, teamwork, and scientific understanding to bring their ideas to life. A big congratulations to Year 1 for their thoughtful designs and to our Year 6 buddies for their support and encouragement throughout the project.
