Last Thursday I had the opportunity to officiate at the Diocesan Gymnastics Day. Just over 300 gymnasts from across our Diocesan schools took part in the gala day participating in four rotations. CTK was represented by a team of eleven girls who performed across the four rotations throughout the day. As a result of their efforts, poise and technique, they were placed first in the “Teams 10” competition for the second year in a row. Congratulations to our girls on their efforts and sportsmanship throughout the day.

Congratulations to Zara C who was placed 3rd overall in the Gold individual competition.

Thank you to all our parent supporters who cheered our gymnasts from the stands and for preparing and training the girls in the lead up. A special thanks to Mrs MaryAnne El-Sabbagh took on the role as our team manager on the day ensuring our girls were warmed up and on time to each of their rotations.

Well done to all concerned!

This term, Year 6 became published authors! πŸ“šβœοΈ Our talented students have worked hard to plan, draft, and write their very own novels. They explored how to build strong characters, create exciting complications, and choose the right genre to suit their story. They also learned how to use descriptive language, figurative expressions, and dialogue to hook and hold the reader’s attention from beginning to end. We are so proud of their creativity and commitment! You can find their novels on display in the Library during Term 3 – ready for borrowing and sharing with our school community. #Year6Authors #CTKWriting #YoungWriters #LibraryProud #CTKLearning #CreativeWriting #StorytellersOfTomorrow

Stage 3 Mini Vinnies Sleep Out πŸŒ™πŸ›οΈπŸ™ Last week, our Stage 3 students took part in a mini Sleep Out to raise awareness about homelessness and what it means to go without certain comforts. Through reflection, discussion, and a simple meal, students deepened their understanding of social justice and the importance of compassion and service. Fr Ian gave a compelling real life example for our students about a man who found himself on the streets even though he had been well educated. It was a powerful experience that reminded us all how fortunate we are β€” and how we can make a difference, even in small ways. #MiniVinnies #CTKFaithInAction #Stage3Leadership #SocialJustice #CatholicMission #CTKCommunity #MakingADifference #cspd2025 #catholicschoolsparramattadiocese #parracatholic #westernsydney #CTKCommunity #ChristTheKing #CTKNorthRocks #CTKLearning
