The Christ The King community joined together to remember the servicemen and women who have bravely served our country.

As we welcomed students back for the beginning of Term 2 our CTK community joined together to remember the servicemen and women who have bravely served our country. The whole school gathered in the church and representatives of each grade placed a poppy on the prayer focus.

As we reflected together as a community to commemorate ANZAC Day we were reminded of the importance of life, love and peace and of the sacrifice that many men and women make today to keep our country safe.

We ask that God continue to walk with them and their families and that as a nation we may follow in the words of Jesus to ‘love one another’.

πŸŒΏπŸ¦— Year 3 Excursion to Penrith Lakes Education Centre πŸ¦—πŸŒΏ On Wednesday 6th May, our Year 3 students enjoyed an exciting excursion to Penrith Lakes Education Centre. Throughout the day, students participated in a variety of hands-on workshops where they identified different bird, tree and insect species, deepening their understanding of the natural environment. One of the highlights of the day was net fishing, where students captured and observed many different bugs and insects living within the Penrith Lakes ecosystem. 🐞🌱 It was a fantastic opportunity for students to explore, investigate and learn about the world around them through real-life experiences. πŸ‘ #cspd2026 #catholicschoolsparramattadiocese #parracatholic #CTKCommunity #ChristTheKing #CTKNorthRocks
