The Christ The King community joined together to remember the servicemen and women who have bravely served our country.

As we welcomed students back for the beginning of Term 2 our CTK community joined together to remember the servicemen and women who have bravely served our country. The whole school gathered in the church and representatives of each grade placed a poppy on the prayer focus.

As we reflected together as a community to commemorate ANZAC Day we were reminded of the importance of life, love and peace and of the sacrifice that many men and women make today to keep our country safe.

We ask that God continue to walk with them and their families and that as a nation we may follow in the words of Jesus to ‘love one another’.

🌿🐾 Year 1 Living Things Project 🐾🌿 Year 1 have been learning all about living things and what they need to survive. Working alongside their wonderful Year 6 buddies, students designed and built a habitat for a living thing of their choice. Their habitats needed to include the essential elements for survival: shelter, food, air, and water. It was fantastic to see our students using their creativity, teamwork, and scientific understanding to bring their ideas to life. A big congratulations to Year 1 for their thoughtful designs and to our Year 6 buddies for their support and encouragement throughout the project. Well done, Year 1! πŸ‘βœ¨ #cspd2026 #catholicschoolsparramattadiocese #parracatholic #CTKCommunity #ChristTheKing #CTKNorthRocks
