The Christ The King community joined together to remember the servicemen and women who have bravely served our country.

As we welcomed students back for the beginning of Term 2 our CTK community joined together to remember the servicemen and women who have bravely served our country. The whole school gathered in the church and representatives of each grade placed a poppy on the prayer focus.

As we reflected together as a community to commemorate ANZAC Day we were reminded of the importance of life, love and peace and of the sacrifice that many men and women make today to keep our country safe.

We ask that God continue to walk with them and their families and that as a nation we may follow in the words of Jesus to ‘love one another’.

πŸ’™β„οΈ Thank You, CTK Families! β„οΈπŸ’™ We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful CTK community for your overwhelming generosity and support of the St Vincent de Paul Society Winter Appeal and Pyjama Day. πŸ§ΈπŸ›οΈ We have been truly humbled by the incredible number of donations received. Your contributions of essential household items will help provide comfort, dignity and hope to individuals and families rebuilding their lives after hardship, domestic violence and homelessness. πŸ’› It was wonderful to see our students proudly wearing their pyjamas and enthusiastically supporting this important cause. Through acts of kindness like these, our students continue to live out the values of compassion, service and community β€” just as Jesus taught us. ✝️ Thank you for making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Together, we are showing the true spirit of CTK and being the hands of Christ in our world. πŸ™Œ #Vinnies #WinterAppeal #PyjamaDay #FaithInAction #CatholicEducation #CTKCommunity #Service #Compassion
