As we welcomed students back for the beginning of Term 2 our CTK community joined together to remember the servicemen and women who have bravely served our country. The whole school gathered in the church and representatives of each grade placed a poppy on the prayer focus.
As we reflected together as a community to commemorate ANZAC Day we were reminded of the importance of life, love and peace and of the sacrifice that many men and women make today to keep our country safe.
We ask that God continue to walk with them and their families and that as a nation we may follow in the words of Jesus to ‘love one another’.

๐๐ช Year 4 Scientists in Action! ๐ช๐ Today our Year 4 students put their creative and scientific minds to the test by designing and building their very own parachutes! ๐จโ๏ธ Through this hands-on experiment, students explored some BIG science ideas: โ๏ธ Gravity โ pulling everything down to Earth ๐จ Air resistance โ slowing the parachuteโs fall ๐ค Forces working together โ helping the parachute land safely It was incredible to see students testing their hypotheses, recording results, and drawing conclusions about which designs worked best. โ #cspd2025 #catholicschoolsparramattadiocese #parracatholic #westernsydney #CTKCommunity #ChristTheKing #CTKNorthRocks #CTKLearning
