Welcome to Christ the King North Rocks
'Victory Through Faith'
Christ the King is located in North Rocks and draws on students from North Rocks and parts of Oatlands, Carlingford and Baulkham Hills. It serves the parish of Christ the King North Rocks.
The school, established by Fr Eric Burton, officially began on 31 January 1973 at St Gerard's Hall, Carlingford. With forty pupils from K-2 the school commenced with very little equipment but a lot of enthusiasm. The motto 'Victory Through Faith' coined by Sr Catherine and derived from a mandate of the founder of the Holy Faith Sisters, Margaret Aylward, still drives the school today.
Christ the King is blessed with a strong reputation for faith development, academic excellence and for the ‘partnership in education’ between home and school. Our enrolment is approximately 400 boys and girls in 7 learning spaces from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Christ The King Primary aims to develop the whole child through all Key Learning Areas. This includes specialist teachers in Music, Physical Education, Art in senior classes and a strong Learning Support team focusing on meeting the needs of the students in our care.
We place emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy and the integration of Information and Communication Technologies throughout the curriculum.
